Hello, I am G. Olivieri.  I haven't put down my paintbrush since the age of four.  My strongest influences were artists from Maine, such as Andrew Wyeth and Malcom Morley.  Wyeth told me to never put my pencil down at the age of seven, and he found beauty in the most unexpected places.  Morley from the Boston Museum of Art made me his art assistant and showed me that my lines were unique and valuable.  He used them in one of his largest works.  His art was bold and he only painted what spoke to him. 

Like these artists I look up to, I ONLY paint when inspired.  I do not seek approval from others and paint what is popular.  You will not find the hottest trend on my site.  You will find RAW INSPIRATION from REAL LIFE PEOPLE and REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES through my lens.  My most prominent works are people who dealt with struggle and turned it around, who inspired others without trying, just being.  I also paint landscapes from visions of places that may or may not exist, looking more for a feeling then a geographical place or timeline.  My belief is that marine animals and landscapes are full of healing elements.  Many of God's creations are overlooked, and I am here to remind you that they were made for your benefit.  All of my pieces are designed to bring a slice of peace to your life, when you need to drown out the busy noises of today's world.
